Job Placement Services assist the individual in the program to identify career interests and obtain competitive employment. The process involves comparing an individual's interests and abilities to the aspects and requirements of a job in their community. Employment may be either full or part time, depending on the individual's stated needs. Community/Social Experience is offered to individuals as an opportunity to explore the community as a valued member. By working together, the Vocational Services Division and the Recreation and Leisure Services Division promote and assist with the attainment of social skills and community awareness. |
