P.I.'s staff is trained to support individuals with disabilities as members of the working community by providing counseling and vocational services. Staff support to the employer continues after hiring, providing assistance to employers and consumers as needed. P.I. is involved in a long-term commitment with businesses as long as the consumer is employed. How Job Placement Works P.I. provides qualified applicants for the employer's consideration. Support services are tailored to the needs of the worker. Contact with employers is maintained on an agreed upon scheduled basis to monitor the employee's progress. Although P.I.'s main vocational goal is individual job placement, supported job placements often provide a creative solution to long and short term employment needs. In the supported environment, P.I. provides experienced workers and on-site supervision to meet temporary employment needs.
