People, Incorporated was founded in 1968 by parents of people with disabilities who were seeking better quality and more diverse services for their children. Today, the organization offers employment training and job development, day habilitation, children’s services including early intervention, parenting programs and child care, community and family support services, and residential services. By building a strong leadership team and board of directors, we have been able to strengthen the financial base of the organization through solid, creative business practices. With budgeted revenue of approximately $17 million this fiscal year alone, People, Incorporated has been able to improve benefits to its employees and services to its consumers. We are constantly striving to become an even more inclusive service provider; the organization regularly partners with new and familiar organizations to effect positive change in the ability of consumers with disabilities to participate in the community.
